We very much enjoyed our stay at Sand & Snow. The house has a great location, very walkable to Frankfort. In our excitement of arriving in northern Michigan, we kept our windows open at night to let the fresh air in — but the house is located on a busy street, and it was noisy. But with windows closed, it was nice and calm. The house had everything we needed – well stocked kitchen, great drop zone in the entry way, good beds, nice and clean. We didn’t find the broom and vacuum cleaner until midway through our trip, though we wish we had found them sooner. Desurai was very responsive when the door code we had been texted didn’t work and fixed the problem right away. I’m not sure if the checkout instructions in the binder that’s in the living room completely match the text instructions (if I recall, it was what we should do with sheets?). Overall, we had a great trip. Thank you for letting us stay!

Beach vacation in Michigan!

Loved the house and the remodeling is beautiful. We appreciated the proximity to the downtown area and the beach. Having beach towels available was very nice! Only improvement would be having toiletries like shampoo available. We also noticed a lot of ants on the floor everywhere but especially the living room, and weren’t able to lock the back door.

this was our 2nd year here, and we will definitely come back, Lord willing. Very nice, spacious and good remodeling in key areas. Couple small items need attention: the rugs in the bathrooms need to be non-skid. First floor shower – the curtains were set too high and we had water running all over the floor. Love the veranda!

I was invited to stay at Lorlee for a big family birthday celebration week! The house is newly thoroughly renovated – and gorgeously done. The kitchen with all top notch new appliances is spacious and perfect for hanging out and cooking together. We are already planning on coming back and doing it again next year – for sure new family tradition. I can highly recommend any stay at Lorlee.

The Green Laker is one of the best cabins here at the property with direct view of the lake and very short walk to the dock to catch sunrise/ sunset. The cabin is cute and has everything you need, a big refrigerator and enough pots and pans. No washer drier so take ample clothes if you are staying longer, there was a laundromat at Beulah, you could use it if you have no backup clothes. The water may have tannins, so be prepared for it, have your own drinking water just in case. On the overall, this is a fantastic cabin away from the Deadstream road and has no traffic noise which makes you hear all the birds. It is a bit cooler by the lake also which will be ideal for summer. My visit was during memorial day week, the weather was still a bit chilly and the heater in the cabin worked really great. I forgot a few things and the property has contacted me and said they would mail me the items, so the service is top notch, only a phone call away and it was always answered
