Birch Shores Resort – Aspen

This summer marked over 50 years of our family staying at Birch Shores Resort. Little Glen is a beautiful lake and the cottage, while rustic, is comfortable and very close to the lake. We practically live on the recently added deck. The surrounding area is a blend of breathtakingly beautiful nature and amazing galleries, adorable shops, and fun restaurants.

The home was absolutely beautiful and we loved our 3 night stay. There was tons of space for our 8 to spread out and the kids loved all the provided games/activities. The beds were comfortable and communication with the host was prompt and helpful. There were thoughtful amenities throughout the home and the kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely book here again! Some notes. The temps on each floor were significantly different and we weren’t able to warm the basement to a reasonable level without overheating the upper floors. Be prepared with extra blankets for the basement rooms and some fans for the upstairs loft. A welcome book with directions for the various home highlights and essentials would be appreciated in the future (i.e. fireplace, sauna, hot tub, fire pit, garbage, local food, etc).

We had a wonderful time at Trader Scott’s!! The cottage is beautiful and the set up is perfect when you have family that can stay downstairs while not disturbing them if we are still awake upstairs! Jean was a huge help with any request that I had and a pleasure to deal with. I love this cottage and we really hope to keep renting it every year!!

What a lovely and welcoming cottage! We loved staying at The Lily Pad. Our family of four had plenty of room and enjoyed all of the charming touches in the cottage. The lake access was perfect and we had fun taking day trips to nearby activities. We are excited to come back next summer!

We loved our trip up to Frankfort and staying at this cute old house. It was perfect for my husband and I and our two dogs! It was nice being walking distance to downtown! We also enjoyed the hot tub after spending a couple hours on the hiking trails and beaches in December. We will absolutely be back soon!

Cute and Cozy cabin for a small spring break getaway. Nicely stocked kitchen, towels were big and fluffy. House was clean. Tabitha, the property manager was beyond amazing and so helpful. When we arrived there was no grill like the listed stated. We had brought meals that included the need for grill. She immediately brought over her own Blackstone grill. We woke up the first morning and with no heat or hot water. There’s a random switch in the downstairs bedroom near a lamp that if hot turns off the on demand water heater. Would be great if that was labeled. We had to get tools out of our truck to fix the table and benches in the dining room because they were so lose and felt they were going to fall apart. Hot tub was great, a little dirty when we arrived. All in all great rental. Would stay here again.
