Our stay at this cottage exceeded expectations. The property is beautifully situated in a quiet wooded area with a clear view of the lake, offering both privacy and natural beauty. The home was immaculately clean and well-equipped, with every amenity thoughtfully provided for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, the furnishings were high quality, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. Outdoor spaces were equally impressive—the scenery from the deck and evenings by the fire pit were highlights of our visit. Conveniently located close to downtown Beulah and Frankfort as well. Communication with the host was seamless, check-in was straightforward, and all details were clearly communicated. This property is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a peaceful and well-maintained vacation near the lake. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

My Mom, dog and I stayed at the Sundowner. We love this beautiful home just one block from the beach and Frankfort pier and lighthouse. Sundowner is very clean and has a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds and furniture. We spend a lot of time on the little patio. It is really the perfect place to experience Frankfort from!

We had a wonderful stay at Crystal View Hideaway. This charming one – bedroom cottage was clean, cozy and the bed was so comfortable I had to ask the host where I could buy the same sheets. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed. There is even a coffee/ tea bar for our morning coffee on the deck with a beautiful view of Crystal Lake. This cottage is an ideal spot for a great sunset retreat or a romantic weekend in a park like setting. We would definitely come back .

I posted our review on Google but didn’t add these things we noticed. Just an FYI and not a complaint. The stopper/drain in upper stairs bath sink does not work properly. The cold water in downstairs bath faucet leaks.

Your home had nice accommodations, comfortable beds, and a very quiet/peaceful stay. The CO2 sensor went bad during the stay and had to have the batteries removed (replacement batteries did not work as the device was at end of life). The main floor toilet had an internal seal that was in need of replacement and had to be manually reset on occasion as it would not stop running. This really should be repaired prior to the next rental. Other than these two issues, it was a very nice home with sufficient support material to it quite enjoyable.

I have stayed here many times and I love it! Can’t wait to go back!!

​Our stay at ‘Emanuel’ was an absolute dream and a perfect retreat from our everyday lives. From the moment we arrived, our hosts, Char and Duck, made us feel like part of their extended family. Their warmth, helpfulness, and accommodating nature were truly exceptional. ​The apartment itself is a lovely, comfortable, and cozy haven. We were so impressed by the thoughtful touches, from the charming decorations to the nice candies that welcomed us. It was the perfect base for our adventures. ​The location is ideal for anyone looking to explore the breathtaking beauty of the region. We had the freedom to bike and were just a short distance from Empire, the fabulous M-22 scenic byway, and the magnificent trails, beaches, and dunes of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. ​A special and heartfelt thank you goes to their daughter, Gayle. She was incredibly gracious and giving with her time, watching over our two Australian Shepherds, Oakley and Rocky, who can be a handful! She walked them on the beautiful, nearly 5-acre property, which gave us such peace of mind to explore. ​We are so grateful to Char, Duck, and Gayle for sharing their incredible home and property with us. It was more than just a place to stay; it was a home away from home where we felt genuinely cared for. We cannot recommend this wonderful retreat highly enough!

It’s a very cute cottage with a spectacular location. It’s decorated very nicely and has everything you need. It was super clean – kudos to your cleaning staff. Would recommend upgrading the mattresses and pillows and strongly encourage you to use a regular patio table and chairs on the screen porch – it’s uncomfortable to have a leisurely dinner on the lovely screen porch while sitting on a bench with no back.
